The little rascal you see above is Ömer. This photo is from a Microsoft coding competition I had joined when I was 9. Needless to say, I won… 🙂
Now I’m all grown up; a high school graduate from Istanbul with a soft spot for code, chaos, and creativity.
I’m the kind of person who turns a home page into a pixel RPG — because why settle with the default when I can tailor it to my liking?
Some say I ask too many questions and don’t know when or how to “shut up”, which I find quite rude since it’s not me but my curiosity talking.
I’ve been exploring AI, learning about virtual reality, building funky websites, solo-developing games with Unity, and dreaming of studying Informatique at EPFL.
Some nerdy tech stuff I use:
Python, C#, Unity, HTML/CSS, JS, Notion, Reaper, and a lot of Ctrl+Z.
When I don’t spend weeks trying to actually teach a machine how to learn, I can be found lying in bed, nearly alive, contemplating psychological indie horror game ideas or the ever-expanding borders of the universe at 2 a.m.
I DO spend a good 2/3 of my day in front of my old laptop, however I have many other hobbies as well, including but not limited to:
Playing basketball, shredding electric guitar, composing my own little metal songs, drawing pixel art, and last but not least, taking care of my cat Randy!
